Missing Minutes of Ballinrobe Union Workhouse from page 796 August 1849 to December 1849.

Can you help please? I am researching the Earl Grey Orphan scheme for Ballinrobe’s 25 orphans.

I need to confirm their names and the route or mode of transport to Dublin to get the steamer for Plymouth where they boarded the ship Panama bound for Australia.

This is part of all our heritage and hopefully somebody out there can help confidentially.

Mayo County Library, Castlebar has a considerable amount of these archives but unfortunately there are gaps in the collection which are not recorded. I trawled through 796 handwritten pages, some is poor condition, before I discovered by chance that these pages were missing!
